It's not dying that a mans truely fears. It's the realization that he has never lived at all when faced with death.

Just a suggestion Joe. Why not put a little compass in the end of the handle.
They used to be very popular.

Confused Dodgy Big Grin  LOL! I tried that once, but it kept burning up in the forge. Need to find a way to stop that.  Big Grin

Cold hammer welding is very tricky and can also be hard on compass parts.

Looks good to me!
Message of Insight and Unity

We go into the wilderness to fulfill our hearts and empty our minds of life's garbage.
The gear we leave behind and the challenges we encounter,
Are methods we use to cleanse our spirits.
Of Survivalists and Bushcrafters, Primitive Technologists too, we are one.........

It is the wilderness within, we strive for first and always.
Not everyone can have a cabin in the mountains.
The thread that connects us, is fine like silk and strong as steel.
Together, the song of the wilderness is the song we sing!

"And can I say something else?"
Bushcrafting is "doing what you want to do."
Survival is "doing what you have to do"
Primitive Technology is about all of the above........

Very nice!
If you can't hear me, it's because I'm in parentheses.

Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.

How young can you die of old age?

I went to a restaurant that serves "breakfast at any time". So I ordered French Toast during the Renaissance.

I have an existential map. It has 'You are here' written all over it.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.
