I decided to try a budget AR-15 build using an ATI Omni Hybrid upper and lower receiver.

The stripped upper was $29.00 at Opticsplanet.

The stripped lower was on sale for $29.00 at classicfirearms.

The Spikes lpk with grip was $40.00 at Opticsplanet.

The takedown and pivot pins are CMMG HD for $15.00 sourced locally. Yes, the Spikes lpk has the pins, but the ones from CMMG are longer and work better with the ATI receiver.

The trigger is a take off from a Diamondback.

The BCG is a nitrided Toolcraft that I bought for $80.00.

The stock is a Magpul MOE sourced locally for $30.00.

The milspec buffer tube was $15.00 online.

The buffer spring is a Brownells CS 3 for $10.00.

The buffer is a Diamondback takeoff.

The low profile gas block is a Troy $30.00.

The midlength nitrided gas tube was $10.00.

The BCM QD end plate was $15.00.

A QD sling swivel was $12.00.

The A2 compensator is a takeoff from another build.

The 15” Remington handguard was $112.50 on clearance at Brownells.

The barrel is a scratch and dent Satern/Brownells 16” midlength, 416 SS/nitrided 5R 1:7 sourced locally for $100.00.

The forward assist is an Aero.

The charging handle is a Colt.

The magazine is a Gen 3, PMAG.

The ejection port cover is a Spikes “Biohazard”. The spider on it compliments the spider on the grip. $9.00.

Just saw this on USRSOG
Never made the connection you were there Brother
