Cold Steel 2019 - New Bowie
#1
The 2019 lineup can be seen here:

It is interesting that they have a crossbow though it is kind of pricey for the power:

What several people here would probably want is their version of the Western Bowie in carbon steel:

I suspect this will become a big seller.

I'm surprised they haven't made their cheapshot broadheads in a traditional lash on style in addition to the threaded models.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects. ---Robert Heinlein

I looked at the crossbow video and at about 11:17 it shows the use of the cocking mechanism, but just in a speed test and there is no good footage of it. There is no explanation on how it works, which IMO is one of the two big selling points of the crossbow itself, the other being quick and easy takedown and assembly. The video is mainly on the arrowheads.

It also lacks a trigger guard which IMO is dangerous.

This video shows a better view of how the cocking mechanism works.

Knifecenter has the Bowie on pre-order:

I'll still wait until it is released and reviewed, but it looks like a good deal at $76.95.

That's a very good price - Cold Steel sells it for $128!
