Message of Insight and Unity

We go into the wilderness to fulfill our hearts and empty our minds of life's garbage.
The gear we leave behind and the challenges we encounter,
Are methods we use to cleanse our spirits.
Of Survivalists and Bushcrafters, Primitive Technologists too, we are one.........

It is the wilderness within, we strive for first and always.
Not everyone can have a cabin in the mountains.
The thread that connects us, is fine like silk and strong as steel.
Together, the song of the wilderness is the song we sing!

"And can I say something else?"
Bushcrafting is "doing what you want to do."
Survival is "doing what you have to do"
Primitive Technology is about all of the above........

they can't make it supposedly in 450. Pretty light 300 black out option.

Just because!

I'll probably stick to glock pdws in that size range/weight. legal to conceal carry.

Interesting as a toy or concept platform but not my cup of tea.

Cool for what it is, a range toy.

But I prefer the standard AR pistol with a Shockwave blade on it.

Back when I had one it was very handy to use, just LOUD

Ok Scottie I know you will ask so I will answer the questions before you ask :-)

WHY?

Regular pistol grip works better for one hand or two hand shooting, at least for me.
For me the standard AR pistol comes to cheek a lot easier than this would. Yes I have the Mossberg so I do know how it would feel.

My AR pistol with Shockwave blade and 7.5 inch barrel would fit in a laptop bag when taken down.
I used to use it as my hotel security gun.

I probably shouldn't stick my nose in here... But, if you spend just a little time on social media or listening to the "news", you will see, time after time, some kind of "drama, drama, drama!" Some of it would seem to be spread by the news industry, but much of it is spread by individuals.

There is always some kind of new thing to fear, and someone to profit from spreading the drama. This is an important point, who benefits from you being frightened?

People seem to be hardwired to believe the worst. Fear is a powerful motivator and many stand ready to take advantage of it. And you.

The more you read, the more you see support for a false belief. That is because individuals, once they believe the worst is going to happen, will spread the false narrative blindly, and the next person, and the next person, ad nauseam.

Consider, you all know someone who believes something you think is false. Psychologists have wondered for decades how someone can have a false belief, and when faced with facts to the contrary, they become more firmly immersed in that false belief.

In 2014, a psychologist named Dave Weston discovered the answer. He wired people up, and recorded their brain activity. He found that when you push against a person's world view, against their beliefs, the logic and reasoning part of their brain shuts down and the fight or flight portion fires up. It happens instantly, without thought or choice.

You cannot change those firmly held beliefs with a fucking ball bat.

Well, the point is that everyone is susceptible to being influenced with a false belief. Not all of them matter, for instance is the world round or flat? Nobody gives a shit what you believe about that, because you don't have the power to affect them.

Everyone knows what a trance state is. A hypnotic trance. Well, the fact is that you are in a trance state any time you are: reading a good book, watching a movie (and cry about something that never happened), listening to a dynamic teacher or preacher, or watch the news, or read Facebook. You are below conscious thought and are open to being influenced to believe something. Anything.

We see it happening all the time on the news, as they beat the drum for gun control every time there is a mass shooting. And, I know from experience that it works.

Give some time thinking about all the panic beliefs that have swept through the world, and check how many times they turned out to be true.

If there is some kind of narrative that makes you fear, or worry about something happening, check it out thoroughly, it is most likely false.
