Skookum Bush Tool - 7.62 - 06-28-2018

After waiting 3 years and 5 months my Skookum Bush Tool was in the mail this morning. Very nice knife. It feels great in my hand. It came shaving sharp.

It is a great blade! Did you get it in O-1 or 3v? The sheath grows on you after a while. Be careful, it is a razor.

I had one when they first came out. Congrats! I think you'll like it. As with anyone's interpretation of the perfect knife, it does not match everyone else's interpretation. Find the ways the blade shines and match them with the way you use it. I'd be interested to see how you think it stacks up with your other bushcraft knives.

$320! on EBay
A fellow could travel from Los Angeles to New York by Greyhound bus, and have a weekend in a Harlem hotel for that price!  Tongue

$320 is a deal if it's a real SBT  Cool

I picked up one in 01 some time back, the SBT fits my hand very well, the scandi blade has done the work I've asked of it, I think I am on the list for one in 3V but I don't really know......maybe I'll get an email  too in 3 years or so...

Enjoy the SBT!  Always fun to have a new knife to put to task...

This is true. But for all but one week of the year I never leave Montana. I live in a very small town in the middle of a ranching valley, with a mountain range to the west, and a mountain range to the east,so you want a good knife at your side.

As an aside,7.62 failed to mention"maybe the  most appealing  valley in Montana" just FYI.
